NKLA Adoption Weekend
Interested in adding a new member to your family?
Then mark your calendars because you won’t want to miss NKLA’s next Adoption Weekend.
The Fall edition of this bi-annual event is typically the first or second weekend in November and the Spring edition is in May. Both weekends are often, if not always, at the La Brea Tar Pits.
This fantastic event is hosted by the non-profit organization Best Friends Animal Society. As the spearhead for the NKLA (No Kill Los Angeles) initiative, Best Friends Animal Society works hard to save all adoptable animals in Los Angeles. Like countless other organizations, they know there are amazing animals available for adoption at your local animal shelter and they don’t want to keep it a secret.
By partnering with local shelters and rescues, Best Friends and NKLA Adoption Weekend has some of the best animals available for adoption in Los Angeles.
Adoption fees are as low as $25! You can bring the family (two and four legged members welcome) and enjoy a nice day out. There are even food trucks in case you get hungry. Mmm ?
