GENERAL QUESTIONS

What do you mean I workout WITH my dog?
Our group classes and event training programs invite you to be physically active WITH your dog while using dog obedience skills (sit, stay, down, heel/loose leash, etc). From cardio, agility & conditioning exercises to mind/body connection, both you and your dog will have FUN being active together!
*Heel command is when your dog's head is in line with your heel and he/she is looking up at your face. It should not be expected tp be sustained for more than 15-30 seconds. Loose leash command is when your dog is walking with you and he/she is allowing a loose leash (a relaxed J-hook in the leash from your hand to your dog's neck.)

Why should I participate in integrated fitness classes with my dog?
Dogs, like people, should be physically active on a regular basis to maintain his/her overall health. Our classes are designed to help you have FUN being active together!
Can I watch a class before I sign up?
Yes. We want you to be sure this is something that would be a good fit for you (and your dog). A complimentary drop-in visit will allow you to watch from the sideline to get a better sense of class. Remember to leave your dog at home. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so you can read and sign our Liability Waiver. CONTACT F&P TODAY to schedule your drop-in visit.
What age do I have to be to participate?
You must be at least 18 years old to be your dog's handler. Participants 12 years or older can be part of a Couple Team but must be: given parent/guardian's permission, present and pass the Consultation, given health clearance (if needed), always under parent/guardian control and supervision, and not given control of the dog at any time.
Can children participate in classes?
Participants 12 years or older can be part of a Couple Team but must be: given parent/guardian's permission, present and pass the Consultation, given health clearance (if needed), always under parent/guardian control and supervision, and not given control of the dog at any time.
I have no workout experience. Can I still participate?

Are there different level classes according to me or my dogs skill level?

I have a disability. Will you be able to accommodate me?
CONTACT US TODAY so we can discuss this with you.
Do I need a doctors permission to attend class?

Do you have on-site medical staff?
No, but all instructors are certified in CPR.
Are your trainers & instructors certified?

Are results guaranteed?
As with any health and fitness class/program, results are not guaranteed. POLICIES/PROCEDURES

What is a Consultation?
A consultation will allow us to get to know you and your dog and vice versa. During your team's consultation we will:

Go over what you will need for class.
Assess you and your dog’s health.
    Provide informational handouts.
Evaluate your dog’s training skills & temperament*
Provide dog training tips to enhance the class experience.
Is the Consultation mandatory?
Yes, we want to make sure we have this time to get to know each other! Both you and your dog must be present (and if a couple team, you, your dog, and you additional human teammate).
Do I need to sign a liability release?
Yes, each participant needs to sign our liability release BEFORE beginning Feet & Paws' class/activity.
What is your tardiness policy?
We hope you are looking forward to class and plan to arrive on time, if not early to fit in a potty break. However, we understand that things happen and its easy to run behind or get caught in traffic. Unfortunately, warming up is an essential part of the work out for you and your dog, not to mention that late arrivals can be disruptive to others. So, for your team's safety as well as others, late comers (more than 10 minutes) to a group fitness class will not be able to join class  and will lose a class credit.

If a client is tardy to a private dog training session, that time will be deducted from the training session. Feet & Paws will wait 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, after which the entire session will be forfeited without refund. If Feet & Paws is tardy, that time will be made up either at that session or in another session (determined by the client). If Feet & Paws fails to show within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the client should contact Feet & Paws immediately and a make-up session will be scheduled.

What is your cancellation policy?
Consultations are non-refundable. If you cancel your Consultation with less than 6 hours notice, are more than 15 minutes late, or are a no-show, you will be charged a $15 fee when rescheduling.

Purchased Classes, Class Packages and Programs are non-refundable, however, if you cancel your Class reservation via MindBody at least 12 hours in advance, you will retain the class credit in your account (for use before the expiration date). Late cancellations (less than 12 hours), later comers (more than 10 minutes) and no-shows will lose the full class credit.

Refunds for Private Training are only available after the first session, minus the cost of a single private training session and a $15 fee. Sessions cancelled at least 24 hours in advance (Feet & Paws must acknowledge the cancellation) can be rescheduled without penalty. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and no-shows will be charged full price for that session. If a client is tardy to a session, that time will be deducted from the training session. If you cancel a session with less than 24 hours notice or are a no-show, you will be charged a $15 fee when rescheduling.
