Training with Tracy has been exceptional. My dog Honey and I started with a dog manners 101 group class, where we worked on communication, barking, and loose leash walking. Tracy was encouraging and patient and helped me become more comfortable and persistent in training. We also did private training at my apartment to help with my dog’s separation anxiety. We learned his triggers and found even more ways to calm his anxieties. We also did a session at a local store to work on my dog’s anxiety about arriving at new places in our car. Tracy is the best! My 6 month Australian Shepherd and I first took her group class. It felt like a private instruction. Immediate results. Sit, Stay, Come, Wait, Leave it. Done, done, done, done, done. She’s a dog whisperer. She taught us how to properly respect our dog and how to earn respect in return. Our home is a happier place because of her. We followed up with private sessions because of a skateboard and vacuum issue our dog was having and again with Tracy’s instruction…problem solved.

Tracy has been AMAZING to work with. We’ve done one-on-one training at our home several times as well as participated in the group classes more than once. I highly recommend both! My dog and I have truly loved our time in each setting. Tracy creates a welcoming and warm community for both the humans and the dogs in the classes. She’s also incredibly knowledgeable about the ways dogs learn. She is so clear and committed. Most importantly, my dog, who is afraid of a lot of people, sounds, and even the wind, LOVES Tracy too. Our eight-month-old golden retriever Ander and us (his dads) have been attending group classes with Tracy and have all acquired very useful behavioral, body language, and positive reinforcement practices. Our pet has learned his name, come, sit, and other commands with the help of Tracy’s guidance. Tracy explains the fundamental commands for the dog and parents with ease. For example, less is more. Puppy Kindergarten
Ask about earning your AKC STAR Puppy Award!
For: Puppies under 6 mos that receive their first DHPP vaccine dose (at least) 1-2 weeks prior to the first time they attend class.
Prerequisite: None
Class content: This series includes the essentials of raising a puppy into a well-behaved, socialized dog. From teaching them how to come, stay, play, share, and be away from you to preparing them to be calm when making new friends, like the vet and other dogs, there is a lot for them (and you) to learn while having fun together!
Dog Manners 101
Begin working toward your AKC Canine Good Citizen Title!
For: Dogs 6+ mos old and either fully vaccinated or receive their first DHPP vaccine dose (at least) 1-2 weeks prior to the first time they attend class
Prerequisite: None
Class content: This series focuses on establishing the potentially life-saving commands: come, stay, leave it, and drop it as well as other important basic skills like sit, down, and loose leash walking. Each class will be filled with step-by-step instructions and training tips that will show you how to clearly communicate with your dog in a way that they understand and enjoy.
Canine Good Citizen Prep
For: Dogs 12+ months old and fully vaccinated.
Prerequisite: Dog Manners 101 or passed an evaluation with the trainer—Fill out the registration form to request yours today!
Class content: This series brings it up a notch and prepares you for AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Test*. From refining your trainer skills (timing, body language, etc) to challenging the behaviors your dog ‘knows’, this series will set you and your dog up for success in the busy and distracting world. Whether it’s out on your walk, at a local restaurant, visiting a dog-friendly store, or greeting a friend or stranger, this class will help your dog have the skills to be a model canine citizen. Dog Tricks & Fitness
For: Dogs 12+ mos old that are fully vaccinated and cleared for physical activity by their Veterinarian.
Prerequisite: Dog Manners 101 or passed an evaluation with the trainer—Fill out the registration form to request yours today!
Class content: Dog training doesn’t have to be all about the basics. This series helps you add some fun tricks to your dog’s resume. From shake, high-five, spin, bow, pout, Bang!, and rollover to canine fitness exercises like side-step, and walking backward, you and your dog will have a blast learning some new, impressive skills that you’ll want to show off to your friends and family!
